The UFC is back in New Jersey with UFC 302 on Saturday. The lightweight championship will be on the line when Islam Makhachev (23-1 MMA, 12-1 UFC) takes on Dustin Poirier (29-7 MMA, 21-6 UFC) in the main event.
Makhachev is the No. 1 pound-for-pound fighter in the world and is coming off a stunning knockout win over Charles Oliveira at UFC 280. Poirier is a former interim lightweight champion and is one of the most popular fighters in the UFC. He is coming off a submission win over Michael Chandler at UFC 281.
The co-main event will feature a light heavyweight bout between Jan Blachowicz (29-9 MMA, 12-6 UFC) and Magomed Ankalaev (18-1 MMA, 9-1 UFC). Blachowicz is a former UFC light heavyweight champion, while Ankalaev is on a nine-fight winning streak.

- Women's flyweight: Erin Blanchfield (10-1 MMA, 4-0 UFC) vs. Jessica Andrade (24-9 MMA, 14-8 UFC)
- Middleweight: Andre Muniz (23-5 MMA, 6-3 UFC) vs. Brendan Allen (20-5 MMA, 8-2 UFC)
- Lightweight: Matt Frevola (10-3-1 MMA, 4-3-1 UFC) vs. Ottman Azaitar (14-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC)
- Bantamweight: Pedro Munhoz (19-7 MMA, 12-7 UFC) vs. Sean O'Malley (16-1 MMA, 8-1 UFC)
UFC 302 will take place at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. The main card will air on ESPN+ pay-per-view, while the prelims will air on ESPN and ESPN+.
