Eagles to Start Season with Two Rookies Inactive
The Philadelphia Eagles will be without two of their top draft picks in the season opener against the Green Bay Packers.
Wide receiver Jalen Reagor and defensive end Javon Hargrave will both be inactive due to injuries. Reagor is dealing with a thumb injury, while Hargrave is recovering from a pectoral injury.
Reagor was the Eagles' first-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, and he was expected to make an immediate impact in the offense. Hargrave was signed as a free agent in the offseason, and he was expected to be a key piece of the Eagles' defensive line.
The Eagles will also be without several other players due to injury.
Running back Miles Sanders (ankle), cornerback Avonte Maddox (knee), and defensive tackle Malik Jackson (foot) are all listed as questionable for the game.
The Eagles are hoping to get off to a good start in the 2020 NFL season, but they will need to do so without several key players.
